Real experiences
I had goals this trip to work on my piaffe and passage as I wanted to complement my training at home. I did piaffe in one lesson out of 7 of the rides. There were 5 lessons and 2 trail rides. So if this trip could have been better, for me I would have liked to work on the piaffe in more than one lesson. There were a lot of other learnings though and overall it was a great trip with plenty of riding, lots of horses, some memorable off horse experiences, new friendships and a wonderful host (who worked hard to ensure we were well matched to our horses) and helped me tick off my goals. Floor has good established relationships with most of the venues and coaches which made it easy to turn up at the venues and have our training.
Now I've had a smorgasbord of dressage experience in Portugal I hope I can do a trip like this again in the future. 🤩🐴
We all agreed that the week had been brilliant.
We all got along really well and had a LOT of laughs and fun.
We rode some amazing Lusitanos Horses and I certainly came away with a lot of knowledge - certainly some from each of the instructors as well.
Floor went out of her way to ensure that we were all happy, fed, safe and getting the most out of our trip.
There were some hiccups but they were dealt with and fixed quickly, and had only a minimal effect on our overall experience.
I felt that I mostly got value for money and had excellent instruction and helpful and safe transport from Sergio.

I would like to express my sincere praise for the wonderful experience I had with Floor during my recent trip to Portugal. From the moment we arrived, we were immersed in a world of beautiful photo sessions and filming, which we are still enjoying.
The stay at the hotel was absolutely perfect, and the charming atmosphere of the town where we stayed made the experience extra special. The organised trips to the stables were not only well-planned but also extremely educational. It was refreshing to have the opportunity to gain this experience, something we wouldn't normally do.
I cannot emphasise enough how warm and welcoming the people we met were. Every detail, even down to the perfectly arranged taxi rides, contributed to an unforgettable experience. We truly couldn't think of any areas for improvement.
The group we travelled with was also fantastic, which only added to the overall great atmosphere. In summary, my experience with Floor and the entire adventure exceeded all my expectations. I cannot recommend it enough to anyone looking for an unforgettable travel experience.

What a fantastic experience. The great lessons of Pedro, the boundless hospitality with the delicious food. It felt like a warm bath in which I felt like one of the family. And of course that we followed the birth of Tomar together. I'll definitely return. Lots of love Jose
It was a very nice trip, we got to experience a lot of things we don't get to see so easily otherwise. The people were very friendly and welcoming. It was super organised. Definitely something never to forget.
What started out as a social media/horsebackriding holiday, turned into a lesson on 'living in the moment', hospitality and friendliness. It was beautiful to see your strong family bond, pride in the finca and dedication to make everybody's experience as nice as possible. Thank you so much for all your efforts it was an unforgettable experience!

And last but not least a big thanks to the horses, always so profoundly generous, patient, trying to understand us, tolerating our mistakes. What a tremendous pleasure to gallop in the immense green field and do some flying changes and feeling the fire and playfulness off the horse I was riding but also off the Lusitano horse In general.
